About Me

Not much to say. I was born and raised in a small town in Southeast Missouri. I graduated from Stephens College this past May and am now working full time while trying to get my MBA. I love music and food, surprise surprise, but absolutely LOVE the Roots 'N Blues 'N BBQ Festival. Each year, I have helped out with the efforts and can't tell you how proud I am to be a part of it! I hope we get to see many more years of it to come!

Tab Benoit, North Mississippi All Stars, Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars, Taj Mahal, Chris Thomas King, Jerry Douglas, Buddy Guy, Music Makers, Ruthie Foster, etc.

Music:

What don't I like? Anything with a beat that I can sing to. Country, Pop, Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz... my iTunes has it all!

Interests:

I love my family and friends! When I'm not spending time with them, I am usually working. Besides that, I love playing with my puppy, Dusty. Movie nights are the best, especially with a coffee table full of junk food. Crazy as it sounds I do like to work out... time permitting. The Wii Fit is the best! I like reading, though I don't get much time to do it. I play on the Internet religiously, but who doesn't today? And anytime I get the chance to go dance, I try and take it! There's nothing better than just letting go on a dance floor!

Movies:

Whether its a comedy, romance thriller or whatever.... I will watch it. I love movies and have seen way too many to name all my favorites. When it comes down to it, I have a true soft spot for the classics. Audrey Hepburn, Kathrine Hepburn, Doris Day, Carey Grant, James Dean, Paul Newman... talk about some great actors! Of course I like any Audrey Hepburn movie! Besides her most famous, Breakfast at Tiffany's, I love My Fair Lady, Funny Face, Roman Holiday and Sabrina. Doris Day movies are my second favorite: Send Me No Flowers, Pillow Talk, Calamity Jane, and Move Over Darling. Of course I love newer movies like Dirty Dancing, Jerry Maguire, Anastasia, License to Wed, Days of Thunder, Pretty Woman, Van Wilder, Bone Collector, and of course the new Sex in the City movie.

Television:

By far my favorite show is Sex in the City. Other than that I don't really watch much TV and the Sex in the City episodes that I watch are on DVD. Occasionally I will watch Greek, CSI, NCIS, House... and anything else that I might be browsing through.

Books:

I am a murder mystery/romance kind of girl. Anything that can keep me intrigued through the whole thing and even occasionally make me laugh, I love to read. I will read strait romance novels as well. I'm a softy. Anything that will make me smile and forget about reality for a bit. I love getting lost in another world.
